If you are interested to discuss further, please review the details below.Duration: Long term contract (Possibility of further extension)Pay Rate: $47/hr on W2Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Oligonucleotide Scientist II to join the Nucleic Acid Design and Discovery team within the Protein Sciences department. This role will support the discovery and development of oligonucleotide therapeutics and contribute to advancing innovative RNA-based medicines across multiple therapeutic areas.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute oligonucleotide synthesis workflows using automated synthesizersPerform purification and characterization of oligonucleotides using techniques such as HPLC and mass spectrometryTroubleshoot synthesis processes and perform impurity profiling to ensure high-quality outputCollaborate with cross-functional teams across biology, chemistry, and therapeutic areas (oncology, immunology, neuroscience)Conduct literature reviews and propose experimental strategies for nucleic acid chemistryDevelop and optimize scalable synthesis methods for lead compoundsSupport preclinical studies by coordinating material production and delivery timelinesMaintain and operate laboratory equipment including oligo synthesizers, HPLC systems, and desalting unitsEnsure accurate documentation and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced labRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related fieldHands-on experience in oligonucleotide synthesis using automated synthesizersStrong experience in purification and characterization techniques (HPLC, Mass Spectrometry)Solid understanding of nucleic acid chemistry and oligonucleotide modification strategiesExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in RNAi or oligonucleotide therapeutics discoveryKnowledge of nucleic acid delivery systems and bioconjugation techniquesExperience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology R&D environmentsUnderstanding of sequence design, mechanism of action, and therapeutic applicationsExposure to large molecule drug discoveryIf interested, please send your updated resume at hr@dawarconsulting.com/kavitha@dawarconsulting.comSkill Set
