In this role, you aren't just maintaining and optimizing equipment; you are an essential partner ensuring the safe and efficient transport of critical products. Precision Technical Excellence: Expertly maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and specialized systems to ensure all equipment meets DOT standards and safety protocols. Strategic Problem Solving: Implement creative solutions to ensure smooth equipment flow and translate maintenance reports into impactful service strategies. Collaborative Prevention & Safety: Partner with the team to communicate technical needs clearly while cultivating a "Safety First" environment focused on proactive maintenance. ________________________Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications We are looking for 1+ year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experience Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment. Ideally, you bring your own basic hand tools. Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance. Valid Driver's License (non CDL). Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience. Familiarity or interest in cryogenics. Familiarity or interest in hydraulics. Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification is a plus (Not Required). BenefitsWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
