The RN will administer medications, document patient information, and ensure a safe environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct intake assessments through patient and family interviews to gather case history.Plan and provide nursing care tailored to patient needs.Diagnose medical and emotional statuses of patients and recommend treatment options.Collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff on treatment plans.Administer psychotropic medications and note patient reactions.Facilitate further medical attention when necessary.Assist clients in understanding and accepting emotional disturbances and treatment needs.Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients.Document all patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.Perform administrative tasks including filing and answering phones.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN License in New York.BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
