Job Description Accratronics is seeking a night shiftQuality Inspectorto join the site Quality Team. This position will report to the site's Quality Manager and will be located in Burbank, CA. Principal duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for providing effective verification of products and certification packages against requirements and the communication of findings associated to the verificationPerform inspection of components and assemblies as part of receiving inspection, machine center, and production assemblyMaintain accurate, neat and complete inspection recordsKeep work area organized and clean and follow all established safety guidelinesWork within a team structure to achieve company and department goalsPerform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requestedRequirements: High School Degree or equivalent G.E.D.2 years or more of experience with inspection of mechanical componentsCapable of utilizing all standard inspection tools and equipment including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM and optical systemsThe ability to operate a CMM and VMM, is highly desirable.Must be able to read and interpret Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T)Must be able to read and understand military specifications and industry standardsEffectively communicate and interact with all levels of managementHigh attention to detailBasic PC fundamentals, knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.Work Hours Hours of work for Accratronics Night Shift is 4:15 pm - 3:00 am, Monday - Friday. Minimum of ten (10) hours of over-time available weekly.Compensation: Salary Range: $58,000 - 68,000 paid at an hourly rate.
