Job Title: Payroll Specialist/HR AdminLocation: Lake Forest, CAEmployment Type: Contract (4-5 Months)Pay: $27-$33/hourPosition Overview:A growing organization in the Lake Forest area is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist/HR Admin to support payroll processing and day-to-day human resources operations. This role will be responsible for managing biweekly payroll for approximately 200 employees while also assisting with HR administration, employee inquiries, and benefits coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, understands payroll compliance requirements, and has hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now.Key Responsibilities:Process full-cycle biweekly payroll for approximately 200 employees using ADP Workforce Now (WFN), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.Review and audit employee timesheets, payroll adjustments, deductions, and PTO balances prior to final payroll submission.Handle off-cycle payroll transactions, including manual checks and final pay for employee terminations.Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and journal entry support for the accounting team.Respond to employee payroll and HR inquiries, providing guidance on pay, benefits, and HR-related processes.Support benefits administration activities, including assisting with open enrollment and coordinating updates with benefits providers.Maintain organized employee records and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.Assist with general HR operations including onboarding coordination, employee updates, and policy communication.Prepare reports and maintain documentation using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of payroll and HR experience, with strong payroll processing responsibilities.Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required.Working knowledge of payroll compliance, employee records management, and HR operationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting and payroll tracking.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison Lau Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
