The studio fosters a collaborative, team-oriented environment where thoughtful planning, strong design values, and social impact guide every project.The OpportunityThe firm is seeking a Senior Architect / Project Manager to join their growing team in a leadership role. This position works closely with the Principal and Associate-in-Charge to guide projects through technical documentation and construction while mentoring junior team members.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats throughout the project lifecycle, with a particular strength in construction administration and technical coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and perform quality control reviews of construction documentationGuide projects through construction administration, coordinating closely with clients, consultants, and contractorsCollaborate with internal teams on multiple projects across a variety of design profilesMentor and support junior staff during the Construction Documentation (CD) and Construction Administration (CA) phasesHelp ensure design intent, technical excellence, and project goals are maintained throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsProfessional degree in Architecture; licensure required10+ years of experience in architectural practice with exposure to all project phasesStrong communication and collaboration skills with design teams, clients, consultants, and contractorsExperience with technical detailing, accessibility requirements, and sustainable design strategiesDemonstrated leadership during construction administration and coordination with project stakeholdersProficiency in Revit and AutoCADMulti-family housing experienceRenovation and rehabilitation project experienceFamiliarity with NYC Zoning and Building CodeEducationBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in ArchitectureCompensation$130,000 – $150,000 salary rangeBenefitsThe firm offers a competitive and supportive benefits package including:Hybrid work scheduleMedical, dental, and vision insurance with HSA optionsLife and long-term disability insurance401(k) with employer matchingAnnual bonus opportunitiesGenerous paid time offRobust professional development and continuing education supportAdditional InformationWe have a strong track record of negotiating above-market salaries and competitive compensation packages for our placements, ensuring candidates are well supported in their next career move.
