Financial Analyst I

Financial AnalystOur client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Pricing and Market Analysis teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Laurel, MD Pay Range: $31.03 Shift: 9:00 am - 5:00 PM What's the Job? Review all customer pricing, markets, and national data for margin growth and opportunities. Oversee the setup and maintenance of all Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) and Local contract bids and order guides. Analyze data to identify and propose actions to purchasing and sales departments to ensure compliance and profitability. Develop and review pricing strategies at the item level, ensuring ongoing accuracy. Assist in developing queries and reports to support decision-making processes. What's Needed? High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing or a similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong analytical skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to make independent decisions regarding pricing strategies and bid management. What's in it for me?
