OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Pines Village is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Rehabilitation Therapy team on a Per Diem basis. You will help residents regain independence in daily living activities following illness, injury, or surgery under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Director. Your work will be central to helping individuals return to the highest possible level of function and quality of life. This position is located at Pines Village in Whiting, New Jersey.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat residents to improve functional abilities in self-care, home management, and daily activitiesDevelop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans of careEducate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and assistive equipmentCollaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and caregiversMaintain accurate treatment documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standardsAssist in group therapy sessions as appropriateEnsure resident safety and independence during all therapy interventionsQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy programCurrent OT license in New JerseyStrong clinical assessment and intervention skillsSchedule- Day shifts available (4-hour shifts). May include weekends
