Job Summary and Qualifications As an Endoscopy Tech, u nder the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the care of patients und ergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures . What you will do in this role: M aintain a sanitary environment for your patient You will d emonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of end oscopy equipment You will p repare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary G I equipment and supplies You will c lean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case You will a ssist in the maintenance, care and la beling of specimens You will i dentify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN Qualifications you will need : Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferre d One-year acute care experience, preferably i n an ambulatory surgery center Valid BCLS Certification upon employmentonli ne certification not acceptable Benefits North Texas Float Pool, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
