Senior Business Analyst

Job Description: Job Title: Senior Business AnalystLocation: Arlington, VAUS Citizenship RequiredWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Federal Government customer in Rosslyn, VA. Candidates must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance US Citizens only and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years. Must have resided in the US for the last 5 yearsThe selected individual will need to live in the DC Metro area to report to HQ in Arlington, VA. They can telework 1 day per week and will report in-person to HQ the rest of the week.Position DescriptionDevelop new business strategies and modelsCommunicate to management on how these strategies and models will enhance business efficiencyCreate monthly reports on the performance of the businessIdentify and address operational, financial, and technological risks within the businessMaintain, test, and improve business and systems operationsBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersIdentify innovative ways to increase customer satisfactionEvaluate the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are metCommunicate ideas and viewpoints to senior managementAct as a liaison between business and IT groupsSupervise the design of new products and evaluate how these will perform on the marketPosition RequirementsMust have a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, IT or any related fieldMinimum of 3+ years' experience as a business analystMust have Project Management experience at the senior level - Prefer a technical Project Manager to understand data projects and understand the holistic view of the project, not just be tasks focusedExcellent communication skills - you have strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills, which are used to effectively interact with customers, collaborate with internal teams, and convey ideas and feedbackAnalytical skills - part of the daily role includes analyzing data, feedback, and metrics to derive meaningful insights and make data-driven decisionsCustomer service skills - you are experienced in placing the customer at the center of decision-making and continuously strive to exceed their expectations by staying on top of customer support and customer complaints, creating a powerful customer experience strategyProblem-solving/analytical skills - you can identify and address customer issues, resolve conflicts, and find creative solutions to pain pointsAdaptability - you can proactively respond to evolving customer needs, industry trends, and shifting business dynamicsProven training in Business Process ModelingProficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance US Citizen only and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.Must have resided in the US for the last 5 yearsSecondary RequirementsKnowledge of cloud environmentsKnowledge of DatabricksKnowledge of Microsoft Visio and Access is advantageousAbility to develop and run SQL or Python queries
