If you thrive in high mix, low volume machine shop environment, we want to hear from you!Shift Hours: Afternoon 3:00 PM 11:30 PMSchedule: Monday to FridayCompensation: Up to $30/hour (DOE) + $1.25/hour shift premium while on afternoon.About the RoleAs a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, editing code and operating CNC machinesprimarily large gantry style mills and lathesto produce high-quality molds that meet precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure smooth production flows, optimal machine performance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret Engineering Drawings & Blueprints: Understand complex technical documentation to determine machining processes and requirements.Program CNC Machines: Write, verify, and optimize G-code programs using industry-standard software for precision manufacturing.Machine Setup & Tool Changes: Configure CNC machinery (5 axis set ups), including tooling and fixturing, to meet tight tolerances on large-scale components.Operate & Monitor Machines: Oversee machining processes, troubleshoot issues promptly, and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure longevity and peak performance.Collaborate & Improve: Work closely with engineering teams to refine processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.Qualifications & SkillsRequired:Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision manufacturing environmentProven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprintsStrong proficiency in G-code programming and CNC machine operationExperience with various CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and especially large gantry-style machinesSkilled in setup, calibration, and tooling changeovers, including 5-axis machiningAbility to troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues efficientlyPreferred:Certifications in CNC machining or related fieldsExperience with CAD/CAM softwareFamiliarity with large-scale, low-volume, job-specific machining projectsKnowledge of quality control and inspection techniques using measurement toolsWhy Join Us?Competitive Pay & Benefits: Earn up to $30/hour DOE plus shift premiums, with opportunities for growth.Bonus - Company offers a yearly performance bonus that can exceed 8,000 per yearCareer Development: Expand your skills with exposure to large-scale, complex machining projects.Innovative Environment: Be part of a forward-thinking company that values craftsmanship and precision.Stable Work Schedule: Enjoy a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule with weekend off.If you're ready to take the next step in your machining career and work on impactful projects with a growing team, apply today!
