Additionally, this role will oversee the issuance, record keeping, and auditing of flight attendant qualification records to ensure continual regulatory compliance.* This role is a member of the Inflight Training Team.What you'll doAs noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Lead a team of direct reports through the implementation and continued operation of a Training Management SystemSupport and manage the development of a short and long-term implementation plan for a Training Management SystemCoordinate with cross-functional groups such as IT, Finance, Operations, Program Development, and external vendors in support of product implementation and continued management of systemIdentify challenges, develop solutions, and drive integration to support the successful transformation of the business unitDevelop and maintain an integration and system operation playbookDevelops and delivers presentations surrounding implementation progress and continued system performance to key stakeholders and Senior ManagementServes as a Subject Matter Expert for all audits of the system, its processes, procedures, and associated training recordsSupport the Advanced Qualification Program team with data extraction and analysisFlex to support additional projects and responsibilities, as neededAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience* 3+ years of prior project management and/or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience2+ years of managing a team of direct reportsAdvanced knowledge of FOS and associated systemsPrior experience issuing, auditing, and maintaining crew qualificationsKnowledge of enterprise Learning Management System (LMS)Knowledge of Flight Attendant CBAAdvanced knowledge of FOS and associated systemsISO 9001 certificationSkills, Licenses & CertificationsAbility to create structure and drive progress in an ambiguous environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflictsStrong task organizational skills with adherence to developed business practicesAbility to shift focus to new projects as business needs changeProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organizationWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
