A leading global investment manager is looking to add a Legal & Compliance Associate to its Compliance team in New York. This role will focus on data governance, AI tool oversight, and regulatory compliance, working closely with research, engineering, and legal teams across the firm.Key Responsibilities:Conduct legal and compliance reviews of data providers and AI toolsDraft and maintain policies and procedures related to data governance and AI usagePartner with data, research, and engineering teams on compliance mattersMonitor regulatory developments and advise internal stakeholdersSupport governance frameworks and compliance control processesRequirements:J.D. required3–5 years of legal or compliance experience within financial services (law firm or regulatory background a plus)Experience with data licensing, AI/data governance, or securities regulation
