Production PlannerThe Production Planner is responsible for scheduling sales orders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring material availability to meet customer demand. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule sales orders and provide accurate lead times for sales quotations.
Review, evaluate, and process sales order changes related to production scheduling.
Communicate regularly with Inside Sales, Assembly, and Purchasing to meet production requirements.
Utilize the ERP system to assess material availability and lead times.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve operations, reduce turnaround time, and streamline processes.
Maintain accurate planning data and support on-time delivery performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in production planning or a related manufacturing role preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
Detail-oriented, hands-on, and highly organized.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal administrative support.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Work Schedule
Full-time, 8-hour shift (typically 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Monday through Friday
Overtime as required to meet business needs
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Primarily office-based with time spent on the production floor.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Repetitive finger motion and frequent verbal communication.
Exposure to typical manufacturing floor noise levels.
Additional Requirements
Must adhere to all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and work ethic.
Highly dependable and reliable.
Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow written and verbal instructions.
Successful completion of background screening and drug testing, in compliance with federal requirements.
