Job DescriptionA Sales Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing a sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, setting sales goals, monitoring performance, and driving revenue generation by managing the sales pipeline, hiring and training salespeople, and motivating the team to achieve targets within a designated territory or market. Sales ManagerRESPONSIBILITIESRecruit, hire, and train sales teams to build and maintain strong customer relations. Understand and implement company culture and selling value to our customers Be the collective voice of the sales group to assist where needed to improve Work with sales reps to solve problems and offer solutions to customers. Work with suppliers to coordinate sales meetings and lead generation programs Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement. Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment Assess individual performance and suggest corrective actions as needed Be a leader to the sales group and actively support all company initiatives Qualifications REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales (packaging experience) Prior experience leading a sales team (management experience) Extremely strong oral and written communication skills Capacity to work independently Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas Excellent leadership and management skills Strong negotiation and relationship development skills Experience setting sales goals Results-oriented with strong analytical skills Deep understanding of customer relations and customer service. The bonus to graduate a rep will not be less than $5000.00 and could be higher. Graduating a sales rep will mean successfully coaching through training until they can be solo.
