Accounting Services Staff IThe Opportunity:At Frost, our Accounting Services Staff are expertly equipped to handle all accounting needs for small to medium-sized businesses that partner with Frost PLLC for their accounting services. These professionals are self-motivated multitaskers with top-notch communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Tech-savviness is also a plus, with proficiency in applications such as Microsoft Excel or QuickBooks.Your Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental principles of full-cycle accounting duties.Prepare journal entries for client accounts.Code and enter vendor expenses for client accounts.Reconcile bank statements and general ledger for client accounts.Process employee timesheets and manage the client payroll system.Prepare sales tax for payment and monthly sales tax reports.Prepare personal property tax statements.Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.Invoice clients and customers.Process accounts receivable for client accounts.Able to work with confidentiality for client information.Provide research support to a transaction review process.Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in a timely and efficient basis.Prepare the completed trial balance, including appropriate supporting documentation.Analyze and identify client errors, prepare journal entries to correct, general ledger reconciliation and financial statements for client-prepared bookkeeping.Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.Always maintain attention to detail and professionalism.Exhibit a desire to understand business transactions and related issues.Ability to travel to local clients, when needed.Provide preliminary review of Accounting Services Staff I work.Provide initial training and mentorship/support to Accounting Services Staff.Responsible for client life cycle from initial setup to day-to-day communication.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.At least three years of bookkeeping and general ledger experience.Accounting degree is preferred.In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks (online or desktop).QuickBooks Certification, preferred.Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Outlook and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.Ability to work on-site preferred.What is in it for you?Hybrid/Remote Opportunities after one year.Competitive compensation.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO).Medical, dental, and vision benefit programs.401(k) retirement.Education reimbursement.Supportive career environments.Coaching and Mentoring Program.Internal learning opportunities.Paid membership to business, civic, and professional organizations.Emotional well-being resources.Paid life and disability insurance.Paid maternity and paternity leave.Paid membership fees to state society of CPAs as well as AICPA.Paid CPE.What can you expect?Initial phone screening of qualified candidates.Panel interview with a member of Human Resources and partners who this position will interact with for candidates who advance from initial phone screen.Secondary panel interview with member of the team this position will be working with for those who advance from the first panel interview.Candidates not selected at any phase of the process will be contacted to advise them of Frost's decision to move in a different direction.
