Night AuditorThe Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The Night Auditor position is responsible for consistent, professional, friendly, and engaging service in an informative and advantageous manner. Creatively and actively engage guests in a service manner during their travels with us. This is an overnight position with a shift starting at 11pm and ending at 7am.Job Qualifications:Previous 1-2 years customer related experience, preferably in a Hilton propertyProficiency in English (verbal and written), second language an assetComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications an assetOnQ system knowledge a plusStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAbility to lift, pull, bend, push moderate weight and stand for 8 hours or more a day.Flexible schedule (Overnight is a must, Weekends & Holidays)Other duties as neededKnowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects, such as, accounts, receivable, payroll, etc.Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using Excel software and other various software programs.Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error.Office machines: operate calculator/10-key by touch, copier, fax, telephone.Must possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately.Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after employee begins work.Maintain an open line of communication between guests, team members, and managementJob Functions:Post and balance all hotel work for each day.Prepare restaurant audits to breakdown and balance restaurant figures.Handle all computer end of day issues and problems that might occur throughout shift.Reconcile credit card system to daily transaction list from rooms.In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.Benefits:Paid Parental LeaveHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceVacation, Sick and Holiday PayCompany Basic Life InsuranceCompany paid Accidental Death & DismembermentCompany paid Short Term DisabilityCompany paid Long term Disability401k Retirement PlanEOE - minorities/Females/Vet/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation.
