Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Elmsford, NY Pay Range: $28.00-$30.00/hr Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm What's the Job? Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime. Perform routine preventive checks and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software. Replace parts, fabricate components through welding and machining, and manage parts inventory efficiently. Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and test results accurately in logs or digital systems. Adhere to OSHA safety regulations, maintain a clean work environment, and collaborate with operators and engineers for effective maintenance support. What's Needed? In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding, and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in demanding conditions.
