This is a **temporary position with strong potential to become permanent** -a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career with a reputable organization.**About the Role**As the **Logistics Supervisor** , you'll play a key leadership role ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through the warehouse and delivery systems. You'll oversee daily operations, guide a dedicated logistics team, collaborate with vendors and internal departments, and help keep everything running safely, efficiently, and on time.If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in creating organized, effective workflows-this position is for you!**What You'll Do**+ Lead, supervise, and support all logistics team members while maintaining top-tier delivery times and quality standards.+ Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and workflow issues-and help implement solutions to improve operations.+ Manage staffing needs including scheduling, cross-training, breaks, and backup coverage.+ Coordinate all inbound/outbound freight and small parcel shipments.+ Oversee inventory movement, replenishment, and material handling within the warehouse and to/from Production.+ Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and promptly using the ERP system.+ Handle small package deliveries, directing them to the correct department.+ Assist with returns and ensure timely and accurate processing.+ Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.+ Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform other assigned duties as needed.**What We're Looking For**+ A motivated self-starter who excels in a growing, fast-moving environment.+ Strong sense of urgency, reliable follow-through, and a positive attitude.+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team.+ 2-5 years of shipping/logistics experience preferred.+ Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.+ Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform duties safely while wearing required PPE.+ Strong communication skills and the ability to build solid relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.+ Willingness to work overtime when needed and consistent punctual attendance.**Work Environment**+ Office environment mixed with warehouse activity.+ Warehouse is **not climate-controlled** -expect warmer temperatures in the summer and cooler temperatures in the winter.**Ready for the next step?**If you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, grow your leadership skills, and join a dedicated team, we'd love to hear from you!**Apply today with Olsten Staffing Services** and take the next step in your logistics career.**Pay Details:** $28.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
