Summary: Ref #: M-RN-295180 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Float Pool Job Type: Contract/Travel Start Date: ASAP Location: Rockford, IL Shift Schedule: 7a-7:30p Rate: $2,052/36-hours Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Extensive cardiac nursing experience Experience in Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Step-Down ICU settings Current BLS (CPR) certification ACLS certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. Administer medications and treatments per provider orders, policies, and state regulations. Monitor patient status, identify changes, and escalate concerns as needed. Document patient care accurately and in compliance with standards. Develop individualized care plans and provide patient/family education. Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and participate in performance improvement activities.
