Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - New York, NY Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Day shift Pay: $150,000 - $200,000/Annually Position Overview: We seek a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations of new patients, developing individualized treatment plans after training on our psychiatric interventions (training provided by our psychiatrist), and educating patients about available treatment options. The candidate will also be able to develop clinical programs and protocols that incorporate various therapeutic models.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of new patients to assess their mental health status, medical history, and treatment needs.Collaborate with the lead physicians to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient s needs. Prescribe and manage appropriate therapies in accordance with established protocols and best practices.Provide patient education on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Valid and unrestricted license in the State of New YorkStrong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based treatment modalitiesExperience in a leadership role within a mental health organization is a plus.
