Job DescriptionEssential Functions & Responsibilities
Process all incoming mail and overnight packages
Sort mail by Mail Stop
Deliver mail by Mail Stop throughout floors
Delivery and pick up of FedEx, UPS, and USPS throughout floors to and from the mailroom
Process all outgoing mail, USPS, UPS, and Fedex, with attention to shipment details
Assist and advise end users of mail and shipping procedures, i.e. bulk mailings, international shipping etc.
Assist employees in preparing special mail types (Certified, Express, Priority mail) with proper postage.
Meter all outgoing mail, utilizing best cost option among carriers
Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
Follow all departmental activities in accordance with set procedures and schedules.
Help maintain inventory of all supplies in mail areas. This includes FedEx shipping supplies, general office supplies etc.
Help ensure that mail equipment is properly cleaned, serviced and effectively utilized
Assist manager as needed
Minimal Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent
Familiarity and ability to operate all equipment as necessary
Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Word
Knowledgeable of postal regulations and mailing procedures
Copier/FedEx/USPS and Postage Machine Knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Physical Requirements

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $22.10 - $26.00
