This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students before and/or after school while overseeing daily program operations.This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling (morning and/or afternoon hours), ranging from 20-40 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the latchkey programSupervise and evaluate staffParticipate in hiring and onboarding of program staffManage program purchasing and suppliesEnsure compliance with daycare licensing rules and regulationsMaintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for studentsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferredValid ODE license/permit (or ability to obtain upon hire)Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare or daycare settingKnowledge of daycare licensing rules preferredSuccessful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprintingAdditional Information:Start Date: August 3, 2026Schedule: 20-40 hours per week (AM and/or PM shifts available)Some summer hours are required for trainingSalary: Commensurate with experience, per approved salary scheduleApplication Process:Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, and completed application to:Mary MitchellMadison-Champaign ESC2200 S US HWY 68Urbana, OH 43078?? 937-484-1557?? mary.mitchell@mccesc.org
