Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment within our fleet shop. Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday-3rd Shift 7:00PM-3:30AM Pay:$35.00/HR to start CDL Incentive Pay-Receive an additional $1.00 on hourly rate with active CDL A Perks and Benefits:WEEKLY pay!!!ASE certification incentive pay-Receive 0.25 for every T Series ASE active certification (up to $2.00 additional pay) Paid Time off and holiday pay Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employment Health, dental, and vision coverage Reyes Rewards and referral bonuses Union BenefitsPosition Responsibilities:The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy" You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam) You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 to 4 years of related experience Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles Preferred Education and Experience: Technical School Certification BenefitsAt the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
