Job SummaryThe Local Delivery Driver for The Restaurant Store is responsible for handling the loading and delivery of orders for local customers. The Local Delivery Driver is expected to perpetuate high levels of customer service while navigating delivery routes and completing threshold-level delivery services. In the event of any downtime or lapse of orders, the Local Delivery Driver is expected to serve as an Order Fulfillment Associate within the store itself, assisting with daily customer order fulfillment responsibilities.Job Location845 Woodland Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and load picked and prepared customer orders into delivery van according to order of deliveryComplete daily delivery route(s) according to order identified using approved company softwareProfessionally and politely interact with customers and deliver product to customer locations according to company policyEffectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questionsMaintain general cleanliness of delivery vanComplete daily inspection of delivery van according to company policiesPerform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goalsAssist with store operational tasks as neededPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.QualificationsExperienceClass C license and a clean driving record.EducationThis role does not require a degree.
