Job title : Compliance Officer Location: Tallahassee, FL & Doral, FL Duration :2+ Month Type : Contract Job Summary: The Compliance Officer is responsible for reviewing and resolving complaints related to condominiums, timeshares, and mobile homes. This role involves analyzing complaints against Florida state statutes, communicating with the public, and ensuring proper case documentation and closure in compliance with departmental guidelines. Key Responsibilities:Contact constituents and complainants to gather and discuss complaint detailsReview and interpret Florida statutes to assess and analyze reported issuesCommunicate effectively with the public, ensuring a high level of customer serviceInform complainants about the Division's jurisdiction and explain case closure decisionsProvide appropriate resources or referrals when necessaryPrepare and send written correspondence upon supervisor approvalClose cases by accurately entering codes, activities, and statutes in the Versa systemDocument all case actions and updates in the OnBase systemCandidate Required Skills:Communicate verbally and in writing appropriatelyRead and interrupt Florida statutesPrevious experience working with the public in a professional work environmentExceptional organizational skillsCommit to the project time lineRequired /Desired skillsAbility to speak and understand EnglishHigh school diplomaExcellent written and oral communication skills when interacting with the publicAbility to read and interpret Florida state statutesExperience working with the public in a professional work environmentExperience working with the public and analyzing complaintsExperience using VersaExperience using OnBase systemBachelor's degree
