By combining operational expertise with technology and data, Flexcar delivers a more convenient alternative to traditional car ownership.As we continue to grow, we are building a high-performing operations team committed to delivering operational excellence and exceptional member experiences.Position OverviewThe Inbound/Outbound Operations Coordinator oversees vehicle preparation (Quality Assurance), inbound and outbound lot flow, vehicle shuttling, and on-time order readiness. This role includes coordination of third-party vendors and on-site Operations Specialists to ensure efficient lot operations and timely vehicle availability.This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation under California law, including:Overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workdayDouble time for hours worked over 12 in a workdayOvertime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdaysEssential FunctionsReasonable accommodations will be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable law.Strategic CoordinationCoordinate order readiness to ensure vehicles meet quality standards and delivery timelinesOversee inbound and outbound vehicle flow across primary and satellite lotsInspect vehicle quality and ensure readiness for customer useEnsure vehicles are processed efficiently through designated lot-flow proceduresPerformance OwnershipMonitor vehicle quality and operational readiness metricsSupport budget oversight for shuttling and cleaning operationsEnsure timely processing of inbound vehicles and infleetsTeam & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate daily activities of Operations SpecialistsOversee third-party vendor performance to ensure SLA complianceProvide feedback and coaching to promote continuous improvementVendor RelationsMaintain effective working relationships with vendorsSupport cost efficiency and turnaround time improvementsData-Driven OperationsAnalyze site performance metricsIdentify operational gaps and implement process improvementsUse data to inform workflow and resource decisionsCompliance & SafetyMaintain compliance with Cal/OSHA safety requirementsSafeguard company vehicles, property, and customer informationAccurately complete timekeeping and documentationRequired Qualifications3-5 years of operations experience (vehicle operations preferred)Experience using Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skills across multiple levels of leadershipAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving environmentFlexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs requireAbility to lift and carry tools or equipment up to 50 poundsWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordWillingness to travel within the assigned market as neededPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, and movement across lot areasExposure to outdoor weather conditionsLifting up to 50 poundsCompensation Transparency (California - SB 1162)The hourly pay range for this position in California is $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.This range represents the reasonably expected pay range for this role within California.
