Production Cook - 2nd shift.

Shift: 1:30 PM-10:00 PMHourly Rate: $26.00 an hour + $$1.50 shift differentialDo you have a taste for food? Conagra Brands is known for our Ionic brands like Reddi-wip, Slim Jim's, Duncan Hines BOOMCHIKPOP, Chef Boyardee, Swiss Miss and more!We are hiring for Cooks on our 2nd shift.You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team member.You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.Essential Functions:Observe color of baked batter on grill conveyor to detect deviations.Monitor quality of product removes substandard product.Monitor flow of product and flippers.Adjust controls to monitor speed and temperature of conveyor grill.Record information about process speed, waste and weight.Check temperature of egg whites and product coming out of cooker and freezer.Monitor internal temperatures for the "Cook and Chill" step (including observations and measurements) to assess whether the critical control point (CCP) is being met for HACCP.Understand Safety, Food Safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.Trained and validated to clean and sanitize workstation equipment (IE. cookers, depositors, conveyors, floors, and walls) according to PPE requirements.Trained and validated on ladder safety, proper water and drain management.Report food safety issues or concerns to supervisors, management or personnel with authority to initiate action.Skills and Attributes:You will follow all quality and productivity standards per plant requirements.Must maintain and regular attendance per company policy.Must meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others.Must communicate with peers, leadership, team members, customers and clients.Must improve performance and work processes through feedback, risk taking, and exploring new ideas.Work varying hours and shifts, with occasional to frequent overtime, following production and plant requirements.Must follow Conagra's Code of Conduct Policy.1+ years of experience operating machinery required.Anticipated Close Date: May 5, 2026Location: Kent, WashingtonOur BenefitsWe care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insuranceWealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase planGrowth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaborationBalance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunitiesOur CompanyAt Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
