Senior Associate - Real Estate Fund AccountingWe are seeking a sharp, driven Senior Associate to join a premier, rapidly growing global Fund Administrator in Iselin, NJ. This role supports client leads on multiple Real Estate funds across various industry sectors, providing a unique opportunity for career growth. Key ResponsibilitiesFund Operations: Prepare and review journal entries, management fee calculations, interest calculations, and loan covenant monitoring. Capital Transactions: Manage investor allocations, capital account statements, capital call/distribution calculations, and maintenance of waterfall models. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, note disclosures, and supporting schedules in accordance with Limited Partnership Agreements (LPA). Client Service: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and investors, ensuring all ad-hoc requests and timelines are met with extreme accuracy. Audit & Tax: Manage the year-end process and coordinate requests from external auditors and tax teams. Team Development: Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members and suggest improvements for operational effectiveness. RequirementsEducation: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Experience: 3+ years of experience in alternative investment funds, public accounting, or a combination of both. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Proficiency in Investran and QuickBooks is highly preferred. Communication: Exceptional professional communication skills and the ability to provide high-level client service.
